The Blanket Flower Oranges and Lemons, Gaillardia x grandiflora Oranges & Lemons USPP, is extremely eye catching in any perennial garden. Oranges and Lemons is a huge improvement to the common Gaillardia, with a plant height of 24 inches and a spread of 18-24 inches. It has as many as 75 flowers that open at a single time. The beautiful bright tangerine petals are tipped in yellow and surround its orange and yellow central cone. Plant Gaillardia in full sun in a well drained area. Deer and rabbits tend to avoid this particular Gaillardia. Oranges and Lemons can be used in borders, containers or use as cut flowers.
