The Anemone de Caen, Anemone coronaria, a fall planted tuber, produces a delightful combination of mixed colors such as bright red, blue, white and lavender flowers with black centers and bold markings. If they are planted close together they will make an excellent ground cover. Anemones grow well in southern climates. Anemones are great for containers and borders.
