The Sagina Golden Scotch Moss, Sagina subulata, is one of the most popular ground covers around. The lush, yellow-green foliage stays compact and produces tiny white flowers. It is extremely dense and spready by creeping stems to form it mossy carpet. Golden Scotch Mossª is not known for its flowering but its foliage. The tiny white flowers will appear late spring into early summer. Use Golden Irish Moss between paving stones, rock walls, as an edging plant or as a small-scale groundcover.
