The Grape Hyacinth Valerie Finnis, Muscari armeniacum, a fall planted bulb, produce unassuming flowers that add a sweet, fragrant touch to the spring garden. This plant is named for a notable British gardener, Valerie Finnis, and it is a lightly scented, powder-blue variety that is highly vigorous.
